Another note, I haven't mentioned it here, but my painting "Inspector Metal Man" has been published in the Metal Man 2 artwork anthology. It can be seen here: Metal Man 2 Book. It's an interesting variety of styles and ways of approaching the Metal Man concept, and I'm happy to be published in it.
Despite these good things, my weekend actually was kind of crapped up by the Art Hop, that I previously enthusiastically advertised last week. To make a long story short, my artwork was hung up in the basement of the building, across from the bathrooms. Also, two pieces that were obviously a diptych were hung 5 feet apart, and others were hung one on top of the other, because there wasn't enough space to fit it all. Given the rest of the display in the building, plus the bathroom thing, I was super insulted. I can't imagine that someone working for an exhibition run by artists couldn't see the symbolism of placing someone's artwork in such a degrading place, or in such a haphazard manner.
Oh well, I guess it's one final middle finger goodbye from Vermont.

cheers!
